Paraphrasing George Galloway : New Labour moved to non-Labour, then to anti-Labour. They are Maggie's children.

Red Dawn says...The Labour party except for the Attlee government has ALWAYS been to the right. It has always been a case of how far to the right. At the moment they are to the far, far right. As George Galloway says..."They are Maggie's children".

Wait till the tories get in they are ULTRA far right...Time will tell...

The way to go is...No more ownership of anything by anyone.Take away the greed and fear and all the evils of capitilist elements.

It is a straight choice for mankind...

True Communism or Barbaric Capitalism...There is NO other way.

Meanwhile, back in reality......

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
Jacqui Smith, Britain's first ever female Home Secretary, is standing down "at the next reshuffle", which will follow the local/European elections on Thursday . Smith, who has been in post for two years, is at the centre of the expenses row, claiming her family home in the Midlands is her second home, compared with the accommodation she shares with her sister, in London.

And still it goes on...it has been disclosed that an MP claimed back from public funds, a £5 offertory given at a church service, having demanded a receipt for it! His claim was refused, but it shows the thought pattern, much like the £0.88 claimed for a sink pliug. Another Labour MP announced today that he will not be seeking re-election, following yet another expenses scandal, and one of the more respected Labour MPs, Dr. Ian Gibson, faces a disciplinary hearing, over a property deal involving his daughter. Three MPs already having experienced this process, have stood down. A Tory MP is also under scrutiny over back-claiming the expenses allowance for a period of time before he was even elected an MP. To be continued...

AND STILL THEY FALL...

(ITN report)

MP for Bury North David Chaytor, MP for Norwich North Ian Gibson, MP for Luton South Margaret Moran and MP for Scunthorpe Elliot Morley have all been prohibited from standing for any constituency at the next election as a result of the ongoing expenses scandal.

Jim Devine, MP for Livingston, has also been referred to the party's "star chamber" panel and his fate still hangs in the balance.

YET MORE...

Hazel Blears, key member of the British Cabinet and Communities Secrrtary, has finally resigned from the government over alleged of expenses irregularities. She was one of the first ministers to come into the spotlight, and always vehemently maintained she had done nothing wrong - even when she publicly paid back £13,000. Another one bites the dust.

DO THEY NEVER LEARN?

With four Ministers chucking in their jobs in as many days, Gordon Brown's circle of friends is evaporating fast. But one of them, millionaire businessman (no surprise there, then) Alan Sugar was seen in Downing Street this week. Watch out for Lord Sugar of Sweetness and Light, Minister for (whatever). How do you feel about that, Mr. - sorry - Lord Mandelson?

MOST SATISFYING ONE SO FAR...

The odious James Purnell, avowed enemy of the disabled, poor and needy ("the work-shy...benefits cheats...scroungers...") has quit as Work and Pensions Secretary, the fifth ministerial resignation in as many days. The fiercest critic of benefits claimants, who has himself milked the allowances and expenses system for all it is worth, has fallen foul of his stinking hypocrisy. Does Brown really NOT know someone is trying to tell him something???

Why do I get the feeling that all this has been orchestrated and we are being led by rings in our noses. The tories sacrificing some of their own to make the government even more unpopular to gain power with a very large majority they will need to push through some VERY nasty legislation in the next Parliament.
