Devastating World Bank report on Palestinian territories, including settlements.

http://siteresources.worldbank.org/INTW ... tFinal.pdf

26.That parts of Area C can be beneficial economically is further illustrated by current Israeli
economic activity in that area.
There are about 20 Israeli industrial settlements in the West Bank
in addition to many others with cultivated agricultural areas (agricultural developments sometimes
extend beyond the built up boundaries of the settlements). The GoI estimates that the value of goods
produced in West Bank settlements and exported to Europe is US$300 million per year. Other analysis also considers goods that were partially produced in settlements, resulting in an increased estimate of
US$5.4 billion in 2008.

The long-experienced and much respected Member of the UK Parliament David Winnck, wrote this powerful message to a citizen and has allowed it to be made public.

"...the occupation of the West Bank is illegal in international law, as well as obviously being a denial of basic rights to the Palestinians living there.
The desirable outcome would indeed be two sovereign independent states with the same right to defend itself against outside aggression, as any other country. It would certainly be in Israel’s own interest for this to occur, since the alternative will in time, however long it takes, be an outcome that would ensure that the Jewish population would be in a minority, and the possibility of a dictator like Amin in Uganda, who claimed god had told him that the Asians should be expelled; this was a repeat of sorts of what happened to Jews in England in 1290, and the resulting persecution and expulsion of the same racial group some two centuries later in Spain and Portugal – leaving aside what occurred more recently.
Palestinians, however, consider not only have they have endured such hardship and deprivation, but also the loss, as they see it, of their homeland. Northern Ireland demonstrates that two very hostile conflicting groups, each so sure they alone are in the right, can reach a settlement that on the whole seems to be working well. Israel should certainly learn from this."
