The FIFA World Cup, also known as the Soccer World Cup or the Football World Cup, takes place every four years in various countries around the world. It is a soccer competition that is put on Federation Internationale de Football Association. It typically lasts one month long. The individuals competing in the World Cup are men who are members of FIFA. Countries from all around the world sponsor teams that bear their countries names, and the players compete for the chance to have their country claimed winner of the World Cup.
