George Galloway didn't do his usual Saturday night/Sunday morning radio show last night. He was swapped with another presenter without notice.

It is suspected that the pro-Israeli Lobby put pressure on Talksport radio (http://talksport.net)

George Galloway would have been best to cover the gaza ground invasion -- so the stated reason for pulling him (i.e. the show focused on Gaza land invasion) doesn't make sense.

I wish Talksport radio would explicitly tell us what is happening.

I didn`t tune in until after Talksports George Galloway show had began tonight was VERY surprised GG was not on.

They REALLY FEAR the left in the media. Goes to show you the real state of media control on the people.

Bet you this Ed if it was the order to keep GG off air came from the very top in New Labour.

Knighthood for the chief of Talksport in the future ?...me thinks.

Talksport didn't even mention any injury to George -- despite the reports of it happening.

George was willing and able to do the show.

This was an editorial decision, based on wanting to prevent George hosting the show -- as confirmed by this anti-George hatchet job report:

George Galloway was axed from presenting his TalkSPORT show this weekend as producers feared his anti-Israel views would be too biased.
The Respect MP was involved in a scuffle with police at a pro-Palestinian rally hours before his live current affairs programme was due to air on Saturday night.
TalkSPORT staff last night said he had been replaced by Ian Collins so the programme would provide a more 'balanced' view of the conflict in Gaza.
